What it is
The Raven Connected Reporting feature rounds up data collected through its advanced telematics capabilities. It presents this data in a consolidated reporting framework for owners, managers, and supervisors to review and take action to improve their business operations.
How it works
Raven plugs into the OBDII port in vehicles to power the device and to pull several data points from the vehicle. In addition to this data, the device is packed with sensors, including a GPS module, accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, air pressure, and temperature. Raven processes data points based on driving habits and then shares them with the apps via real-time alerts. It then takes these alerts and packages them into rich reports for managers to identify trends and potential issues with their workflows or driver behavior. Report types currently include:
- Trip: Vehicle, trip length, distance, date, start and finish locations, and a link to additional details, including events, videos, and more.
- Stop: A detailed list of stop and idling events for all vehicles over a selected period.
- Activity: A combined view of driving and parked activities with activity start and end times, duration, distance, location, and Geofence interactions for all vehicles over a selected period.
- Event: Number of events and which events were triggered by each vehicle by day. Events currently included in this report are aggressive acceleration, speeding, idling, and harsh braking.
- Geofence: Vehicle, geofence interacted with, enter and exit timestamps, and time spent inside. Additional details can be found by clicking on the enter or exit timestamps.
- Device: The current state of each device and all of the details associated with it.
- Asset: The last reported battery level, time, and location for each asset and all associated details.
- Vehicle DTC: A list of any vehicle diagnostic trouble codes for the set period and what they were.
How to use it
- From the web app, select the 'Reports' drop-down.
- Select the report type you want to review from: Trip, Stop, Activity, Event, Geofence, Device, or Asset Reports.
- Adjust your views, including sorting the data by views, what’s included, and the time contained in the report.
- Review the information online or download it as a CSV to share with others or to combine with other reporting done in your business.
Note: Reports in the web app are displayed in your local time zone, while downloaded CSV files display times in UTC. The day timer resets at 00:00 local time.
