How to Factory Reset a Raven

Factory resetting your Raven will erase all videos stored on the internal storage drive and allow the device to be subscribed to a new or existing Raven Personal LTE service plan.  Micro SD cards must be formatted or deleted separately using a computer.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Raven+ Factory Reset

1. Retrieve any important videos from the SD card before continuing, as they will be permanently erased.
2. Ensure you are in an area with cellular coverage, that the Raven device is powered on, and wait for 30 seconds.
3. PRESS and HOLD the power button on the base of the device. A "Power Off" countdown will appear. Continue holding the button.
   
   
4. Keep holding until the screen is blank and the Raven+ logo is displayed, then RELEASE the button.
   
5. The "Raven Recovery" menu will appear.
6. TAP the button 3 times to select the “Factory Reset” option.
7. PRESS and HOLD the button for 2 seconds to confirm the selection.
   
8. If a confirmation screen appears, select CONFIRM. The device will then reboot.
   
9. Upon reboot, the device should display a checkmark screen, then proceed to the registration process.

If you do not have an existing Raven Connected account:

• Download the Raven Connected mobile app from either the Apple or Android app stores

• Follow the steps to create a new account

If you have an existing Personal Raven Connected account:

Open the Raven Connected mobile app.  (Sign In, if required.)  Go to the DASHBOARD home screen and tap on the drop-down arrow in the middle of the screen (Raven or Fuel Gauge display).  Select the option ADD ANOTHER RAVEN (iOS) or ADD A NEW RAVEN (Android) to add a new or factory reset Raven.  Follow the in-app instructions to complete setup.
